Rebecca is an Assistant National Officer in the Education & Children’s Services team and previously worked at UNISON Essex Branch as Branch Manager. She has been active in ACTS throughout both roles as a health and safety rep, and is now putting her branch experience of managing membership records to use as Membership Officer.

Dave has been active in the movement for well over four decades, most recently working for Derbyshire UNISON branch as an area organiser/caseworker. He was employed by the branch for almost 27 years and has been a Unite-in-ACTS representative for almost all of them. Previously he held a number of elected posts in the CWU and predecessor unions whilst employed by BT. He is also the communications officer for the National Shop Stewards Network (NSSN). He lists outside interests as reading, craft beer and listening to music across a number of genres from modern jazz through soul and R&B to hip-hop and other dance music.

I retired from UNISON in May after working for 22 years, mostly as an Area Organiser in the Northern Region. I have been a member of ACTS since joining UNISON and was a Deputy Senior Steward in the Northern Region as well as Joint Chair for the Branch. My current role will be to support the Membership Officer in their role, updating members details, adding new members, cleansing the database and providing information to senior stewards.
